The "Notorious Party Room"
THE Party Room has made CSC VII, VIII and IX respectively the first swing dance events with an improvized
Foam-Party, rock concert like
Crowd-Surfing and
Tag-team pole-dancing contest. The Party Rooms are OPEN TO ALL participating in our event. Normally doors open when the band(s) finish playing. You can swing by to chat, jam, grab a drink or jump around and have a good time.
"Crazynuss" Room (under the VOLUNTEER leadership of Isabelle Labossière)
This is the original Party Room. It was born from Dee noticing, as he started travelling to major events at the start of his swing dance career that: "You show up at the event and a friend of yours will say 'Hey Dee, room 217 *wink*, you show up there and you see the event's teachers, friends and party animals and there is always free food or drink there... I would like to create a room where all the people at the event could feel like a VIP". And so the Notorious Party Room was born
You will find there:
- A DJ playing all sorts of music to get you jumpin' up and down like a college co-ed
- A FREE bar serving drinks offered by CSC and it's sponsors
- People jumping around
For this CSC edition, our ‘'Party Room'' team are preparing you a great time with no time to sleep. Be ready! Here are the themes:
- Friday: Prohibition Casino.
- Saturday: Jungle party!
- Sunday: Circus Burlesque!
In the Party Room, there will be a Photobooth in the nights of Saturday and Sunday between 2:30 am and 3:30 am. Alcohol is free in the party room and our volunteers are doing a great job, we encourage tips.

Isabelle Labossière:
Saturday evening come meet "the Boss", Isabelle Labossiere is putting together one heck of a Jungle Themes Party. This young woman now working in an entertainment agency has put several event together including many in the swing community. We love her energy and creativity so don't miss the Saturday night party room events, come let loose the animal in you when you enter the Boss's Jungle!
Samedi soir Isabelle Labossière '' La Boss'' vous organise un jungle party mémorable cette année. Étant dans l'organisation de nombreux événements, elle en fait aujourd'hui sa profession en agence. On aime d'elle son énergie et ses idées et c'est la raison pourquoi on ne veut pas manquer ses événements. Alors soyez des nôtres pour découvrir ce que la jungle nous réserve |

Meet Amira & Chris. These two party professionals will ensure that you have a good time. Come chat them up and get yourself a tasty beverage, or even better ask them to break out the shot glasses!
When their not slinging drinks from behind the bar (or dancing on it) they prowl the Montreal nightlife scene and get into way too much trouble. If there's a party they'll be there with bells on, and probably not much else
Le party-room cette année sera le baptême de feu de nos nouveaux figures de proue du party au CSC... Saluons la venue de Amira et Chris. Le CSC passe a un autre niveau avec ces professionnels du Party... En effet quand ils ne sont pas derrière le bar (ou en train de danser dessus) ils sont en train de rendre visite a d'autres évènements Montréalais du nightlife. En gros si il y a un party dans le secteur on sait si il a la cote par leur présence ou absence... Venez voir pourquoi en passant prendre un verre, ou plusieurs, au party room cette année! |
