AT CSC: WE ARE SERIOUS ABOUT WEST-COAST!!! (Even though we are located in Montreal which technically would mean we're serious about the East-Coast, but in swing dancing, that's another question altogether...)
WCS Coordinators:
Canadian Champions
Myles Munroe & Tessa Cunningham

A few years ago, the team at CSC was proud to team up with Canadian West Coast Swing Champions Myles Munroe and Tessa Cunningham to give West Coast Swing a significant place at our Championships! THAT YEAR, THEY ROCKED THE HOUSE, winning the Swing Couples division and partying with the best of us! We are very excited to have them back again this year, stepping up the Westie side of the event. Myles and Tessa travel and compete on the international West Coast Swing circuit, and they know what we Westies want! Here's what they're preparing for you!

Westies get their OWN DANCE ROOM EVERY NIGHT designated WCS DJ's who know their WCS music: Contemporary, R&B, Blues (GOOD Blues!), Funk, 60's, Jazz, Classic Rock, Beach, Soul… Blues dancers highly encouraged - this is where most of the Blues music will be played. Westie-curious-Hoppers always welcome!

Try some crossover workshops or get your fill of WCS workshops – there's lots to choose from for ALL LEVELS. Taught by top pros with current teaching methods Myles & Tessa, Bill Cameron. There will be special workshops for experienced Lindy dancers who are trying WCS for the first time – you don't have to start from scratch! Here's a quicklist of workshop titles that will be fit into the schedule.

Jack & Jills

New this year! CSC will be offering official World Swing Dance Council Jack & Jill contests for Novice, Intermediate and Advanced! Please note that these levels are based on a point accumulation system - everyone starts in Novice, then you must earn points by placing top 10 in order to advance to the next level. See the WSDC website here: www.swingdancecouncil.com
